Methodology
The index uses a source-weighted median with explicit tiers (verified accounting data, METI, Eurostat, OECD, CEPAL, BLS PPI comparators, and Perplexity Sonar for external validation). Aggregates report P25/P75, standard deviation, and 95% CIs where sample size allows; YoY trends use OLS with disclosed R².
Limitations and confidence labels are published in each edition so press and academic readers can cite the dataset responsibly.
